Steve Briault

Steve Briault is a founding Director of Rubicon Associates, working primarily in the utilities, retail and service sectors both in the UK and overseas. He creates and delivers integrated learning programmes with and for his clients, helping them to develop their organisational culture, re-design structures and radically improve processes for the benefit of their stakeholders. He specialises in coaching managers in negotiation and partnership-building, and has developed a set of tools for Supply Chain Development. He is helping clients to pioneer the application of Lean Design in service environments, and has recently created a powerful simulation exercise called Answercard which allows participants to experience the benefits of Lean re-design in a contact centre and back office context.

Current and recent clients include Transco, Triodos Bank, Raiffeisen International, Centrica, dm drogeriemarkt (Austria), Prismo Group, Rother Homes, Olympus UK, Norwich Union and The Information Centre for Health & Social Care.

Brian Swain

Brian Swain is an organisational development consultant working in manufacturing, service and construction companies throughout the UK. He often typifies his approach as individual, organisational and corporate coaching. His work is focused on the Lean Transformation of companies through team building and personal development within the context of process management, continuous improvement and organisational design. He works at all levels in large and small organisations with a primary focus on Value Stream Development in regard to strategic and operational performance. Typically he works and consults on long-term (1-3 year) change processes within his client companies.

Current and recent clients include Corus Steel, Mace, Denne, Marshalls PLC. Prismo Group, Hathaway Roofing, SmithKline Beecham, Portmeirion Potteries, Evenwood Engineering and County Durham TEC. Additionally, he has project managed and co-authored textbooks and manuals for work-based management development. He is a founding Director of Rubicon Associates.
